ABOUT SAHARA FOR LIFE TRUST
“SAHARA for Life Trust”, is a charitable organization, registered with the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy and affiliated with charity commissions of the U.K, Europe, USA, Australia, and Japan. SLT’s envision is to reach the unreached in health, education, and social services in remote areas of Pakistan. The founder and Chairman of the trust, Abrar Ul Haq, is a symbol of human service and an internationally acclaimed social worker. It was his efforts and astounding work of SLT that he was honored both nationally (Sitaara-e-Eisaar and Tamgha-e-Imtiaz) and internationally (OIC designated 1st ever Humanitarian Ambassador in 2011).
The first mega project of “SAHARA for Life Trust” is “Sughra Shafi Medical Complex Narowal”, a 600 beds ISO certified General Teaching Hospital. SSMC is providing state of art healthcare facilities to more than 05 million population in remote areas.
All medical and surgical services including emergencies are offered 24/7 and 5.7 million patients have been treated so far on a free-of-cost basis by considering all “Quality of Health Care standards”. Read More
